SEAVU

BRAND NAMING

BRAND ARCHITECTURE

Fishermen spend their time on top of the water, disconnected from everything happening beneath it. Seavu was developed by a passionate fishing enthusiast to close that gap — a protective camera case and underwater wifi livestream system connecting the world below the surface back to a smartphone above it.

The name plays on "sea" and "vu" (view) — a name built around the product's core idea: giving people sight of a world they'd otherwise never see. It's short, ownable and easy to say, with room to speak to fishing and to the wider seafaring markets the product could serve beyond it.

As the brand grew beyond its first product, Explorer, the client identified a need for an entry-level option alongside it. We developed Seavu Seeker — extending the naming system rather than starting again. "Seeker" rhymes "sea" into "see", carrying the same wordplay as the master brand, while matching Explorer's action-word style: both names are an invitation for the user to engage with the product, not just a label for it. We also developed the brand's social handles, including Seavulive, to keep the naming consistent across the product range and its online presence.
